Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the purchase price of the item (excluding shipping). In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Transferred/Excluded Liability

Liability for losses transfers to carrier once items are dispatched. We disclaim responsibility for customs delays, duties, or delivery issues outside our control.

This policy is aligned with Australian Consumer Law and global e-commerce best practices. While we aim to comply strictly, certain statutory consumer guarantees cannot be excluded.

Shipping & Returns Policy
Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Standard shipping within typically takes 2-3 business weeks, depending on location and carrier reliability.

For international orders, delivery may take up to 10 to 21 business days, subject to customs clearance.
Shipping Costs (AUD)

Domestic orders: All orders have included free shipping. For Knives free shipping available on orders over $1000.

International orders: All orders have included free shipping. For Knives free shipping available on orders over $1000.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes.
Tracking & Loss

A tracking number will be emailed upon dispatch. Please contact us if no tracking info is received within 3 days.

We are not liable for delays, losses, or damage once the carrier has possession. Claims for lost/damaged parcels must be filed directly with the carrier.

If a parcel is marked “delivered” by the carrier but not received, we may offer assistance, but our liability remains limited once delivery is confirmed.
Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you request the courier to “leave it at the door”, liability transfers to you the moment delivery is confirmed by the carrier.
Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to PO Boxes, remote regions, or areas not serviced by our carriers.
Returns Policy
Eligibility & Timing

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
Non-Returnable Items

Perishable goods, consumables, and custom-made or made-to-order goods are not eligible for return unless faulty.
Return Process

Email us at [hello@orphantoentrepreneur.com] within 5 days from receipt to request a return authorisation.

We will issue an RA number and return instructions.

Pack securely; return shipping cost is at your expense and non-refundable unless item is defective.

Once received and inspected (usually within 3 business days), we will process your refund (minus original shipping).
*As a general rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer's personal reasons.
If we mistakenly deliver an item that is different from your order, we will exchange it at our expense.
If there is something wrong with the product, we will accept returns or exchanges only within 5 days of receipt in Japan and within 20 days of receipt outside Japan.
(However, if the product has already been used, we will not accept returns or exchanges.)
You will be responsible for pay the return shipping costs for returns or exchanges if there is a problem with the delivered product.
Refunds & Restocking

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of inspection.

A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply for items returned without valid reason or in original condition.
Exchanges

Exchanges allowed only for items of equal or lesser value. Customer pays difference for higher-cost items and all return shipping.
